GLP-1 Cost Calculator

What Wegovy, Zepbound and compounded really cost per month

Pick a medication to see the realistic price bands by route, cheapest first. Estimated ranges by provider are listed at the bottom.

What will it cost you?

These are ballpark bands, not quotes. GLP-1 pricing changes by dose, by form (pill vs pen), by pharmacy and by month, and most routes run introductory offers that expire — so a single exact price would be wrong within weeks. Confirm the current price with the provider before deciding anything. See list price and cash price.

Compare price by product

Estimated monthly cost across every route we have a figure for. Ranges rather than single prices, because every provider varies by dose or form. A dash means we have no figure for that pairing — not that it's unavailable.

The two compounded columns are marked restricted. Mass compounding of semaglutide and tirzepatide is no longer broadly legal in the US. Those platforms still advertise these prices; showing them is not a claim that the route is open to you. See compounding pharmacy.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a GLP-1 cost per month without insurance?
Roughly $149–$500 a month through the cheapest cash routes (direct from the maker, or telehealth), and up to $1,000–$1,350 at list price. Which end you land on depends on the drug, the dose, the form, and where you fill it.
Why do you show ranges instead of exact prices?
Because exact prices are wrong within weeks. GLP-1 pricing splits by dose and by form, changes by pharmacy and by month, and most routes run introductory offers that expire. Two sources for the same drug at the same provider routinely disagree. A band is honest; a precise number is a guess wearing a suit.
Is compounded semaglutide cheaper than Wegovy?
It was, and it’s often still advertised that way. But mass compounding of semaglutide is no longer broadly legal in the US — the FDA’s shortage-resolution deadlines passed in 2025. Only narrow patient-specific compounding remains, and cost isn’t a reason that qualifies.
What's the cheapest way to get Wegovy?
If you have commercial insurance that covers it and you qualify for the savings card, $0–$25 a month. If you’re paying cash, the maker’s own self-pay pharmacy and telehealth platforms are far cheaper than list price — but check the dose and form, since both change the price.
