Zepbound

Also known as tirzepatide injection · Zepbound vials

Brand — tirzepatideEvidence tier A

Zepbound is Eli Lilly’s brand of tirzepatide, approved for weight management. It is a weekly injection, and FDA-approved — Tier A.

Zepbound and Mounjaro are the same molecule, on different labels: Zepbound for weight management, Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes.

What the studies found. In SURMOUNT-1, adults on weekly tirzepatide lost roughly 16% to 22.5% of body weight over 72 weeks, depending on dose.[1]

It comes in two forms, priced differently. Autoinjector pens and single-dose vials. The vials are sold direct at a price that changes with the dose, while the pen list price does not — which is why the cost calculator treats them as two separate products. Your maintenance dose therefore changes what you pay.
