Care pathway

Telehealth means the clinical visit happens online. A provider reviews your case remotely, writes the prescription if appropriate, and the medication is usually shipped to you. For GLP-1 drugs it has become one of the main routes people use, alongside a normal pharmacy.

The telehealth platforms:

  • Ro Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound
  • LifeMD Wegovy
  • Hims & Hers Wegovy
  • Mochi Healthrestricted Compounded semaglutide, Compounded tirzepatide
  • Edenrestricted Compounded semaglutide, Compounded tirzepatide
  • Noom Medrestricted Compounded semaglutide, Compounded tirzepatide
  • Henry Medsrestricted Compounded semaglutide, Compounded tirzepatide
  • MEDVirestricted Compounded semaglutide, Compounded tirzepatide

Prices for each are in the cost calculator. Captured 2026-07-17.

Two things matter when comparing telehealth prices:

  • The membership is separate from the drug. Many platforms charge a monthly membership on top of the medication. A cheaper drug behind a $99/month membership can cost more than a pricier one with no fee, so the cost calculator ranks by the combined total.
  • What’s in the box differs. Some platforms dispense the branded, FDA-approved drug. Others dispense a compounded version, which is a different regulatory category.

The remote model has been linked to specific errors. In a July 2024 alert, the FDA warned that dosing errors with compounded semaglutide led some people to take 5 to 10 times the intended dose, with some requiring hospitalisation.[1]
